U.S. Loaner Program

The U.S. loaner program allows you to audition the D100 in your own home without making a purchase. :D

The way it works is simple. If you would like to audition the D100, post a reply to this thread indicating your interest. Your name will be added to the list in first come first serve order. Once the person above you in the list has finished his or her audition, the loaner unit is shipped to you. You have two weeks to listen before you ship it to the next person on the list.

To keep things easy, shipping costs are paid by the sender. Shipping must include full insurance for $1295 USD. The next person in line must provide their shipping address and phone number to the shipper and Neko Audio. The shipper must provide the tracking number to the recipient and Neko Audio.

After the audition, each participant must post on this thread with their impressions of the D100, and should include what equipment they used. A pair of XLR female to RCA male interconnects is included with the D100 for use with single-ended systems.

The current loaner unit is a D100 Mk2. Correspondingly the shipping insurance must be $1395 USD.

The U.S. program is currently closed. However, if you are interested in the program please post to this thread. With enough participants, I will open the program for round two.

Would be deeeeee-lighted to audition this DAC. My schedule is such that I'd like to do so after Labor Day, however. Any chance you can slot me in after a few folks so that I can try it out some time in September?

Thanks,

Dave Burna (aka: dB, a unit measure of noise)

Count me in! I would need to also borrow a pair of your XLR to RCA cables but I can audition whenever your ready.

Sign me up as well. WIll also need to take advantage of the XLR to RCA adaptor. And some parts of August and September may not work great. Though finding someone to jump ahead of me in line shouldn't be too hard...

Hi. :) I've updated the audition list approximately in the order people contacted me, taking into account what you've said about your schedule availability.

A pair of XLR to RCA cables will be included with the unit so that shouldn't be a problem for anyone. Hopefully 3' will be sufficient for everyone. If not, let me know now so I can make a longer pair.

In terms of timeline, I expect to be able to ship the unit out to the first person within the next couple of weeks.
