Hello Wes,

I would like to be added to the queue for the U.S. loaner program.
I wish I had signed up sooner, but good things come to those that wait.

Thanks, in advance,
Tim

Hello Wes,

First off, thank you very much for making this program possible. It is very generous of you.

Please add me to your US loaner list at your convenience. I currently have an Oppo BDP-83SE and a Sony XA5400ES (both unmodded) and a Lynx L22 in my pc. I am very curious to experience the Neko Mk II.

One question, though. If everything works out and I purchase the Mk II, is is possible to run a Mk II without the output transformers (just signal from dacs)?

Thanks again!!!

Take Care, Will

Hi, Will. I've added you to the list.

If you were to remove the output transformers, you would at least need to replace them with something that blocked the DC offset coming out of the DAC chips. Some other designs use a capacitor in series to do this; I found this had a negative effect on the audio quality.

I just got a message from Monkey and he should be shipping it out to you today or tomorrow at the latest. I've asked him to make sure he emails you when it goes out. :)
